What is the OEC/OFW Travel Pass?
The Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC), now transitioning to the OFW Travel Pass, is the official travel exit clearance for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). It certifies that your employment has been properly registered with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).
- The OFW Travel Pass or OEC is presented only upon the exit of an OFW from the Philippines. It is not required for return. It is also not required for the continuous employment of an OFW overseas.
- You may issue your OFW Travel Pass via the eGovPH app valid for 90 days from issuance.
- OECs issued from the E-Registration portal is valid for 60 days from issuance.
