Contract Verification (for OFWs)

What it is: This process is the registration or update of your overseas employment with DMW for the purposes of acquiring your Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC). MWO SG will check that the standards and provisions of your employment are in accordance to host country and Philippine regulations.

Who is it for:
This is for OFWs who have:

1. changed employers while in Singapore

2. changed position while working for the same employer

3. changed jobsite (cross-country)

4. no previous records with POEA or DMW, and is currently employed in Singapore


Documentary Requirements download checklist

1. ORIGINAL SIGNED (by worker and employer) copy of the EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT;

2. PHOTOCOPY of the worker's VALID Philippine Passport;

3. PHOTOCOPY of the worker's VALID work pass/identification card (IC);

4. a. FOR DOMESTIC WORKERS: PHOTOCOPY of the Employer's NRIC/ID with SIGNATURE SPECIMEN;

    b. for SKILLED/PROFESSIONALS: Any of the following:

       i.. ORIGINAL copy of Certificate of Employment signed by Employer;

       ii. COPY of the most recent PAYSLIP;

       iii. COPY of the worker's company ID;

       iv.ORIGINAL SIGNED Compliance Letter

5. Additional documentary requirements:

a. EMPLOYER has been ACQUIRED/MERGED with another company: Formal transfer letter from the company, documentation on the change/acquisition/merger of the employer.
  NOTE: A simple name change of the company will not need a contract verification (but may still be done at request),          however, please check that the UEN of the original and new company are the same. Make sure to bring a copy of the        ACRA name change certificate. 

b. CHANGE IN POSITION/PROMOTION: Promotion letter, or any document issued by the company indicating your new position and benefits;


Process:

1. Set up and book and appointment for CONTRACT VERIFICATION under LABOR SERVICES here, or copy this link in your browser: https://q4what.com/index.php/MainServices?lan=en&bn=phembassy


2. Create or update your details on the DMW E-REGISTRATION portal. 


3. Bring all the documentary requirements on your scheduled appointment. 


4. Pay the VERIFICATION FEE of SGD 15.00 (CASH ONLY)


5. Collect the VERIFIED CONTRACT and OFFICIAL RECEIPT. Make sure all details are correct before leaving. 


6. For those with previous records, your OEC will be generated and sent to your email, which is valid for sixty (60) days. If your intended travel to the Philippines is later, you may request your OEC through your E-REGISTRATION account.


7. For those without POEA/DMW records, set an appointment with the nearest DMW office upon your return to the Philippines to request your OEC.
